The Grand 1401 was originally built as the headquarters of the San Joaquin Light & Power Building, in 1924. After having recently undergone a multi-million dollar restoration, it now offers two unique ballrooms for tradeshows, seminars, luncheons, galas, meetings and more.
The 10th floor is home to The Grand on 10, an unbelievably picturesque space recently opened to the public for events after being hidden from the public for decades. Ideal for events with up to 275 guests, the room is lined with large picture windows and includes a stage and hidden wall that can be used to partition off a smaller area available for meetings and cocktail receptions. Particularly striking is the outdoor terrace where your guests can experience unmatched views of the city.
The Grand Ballroom on the first floor is a captivating space available for events with up to 550 guests. Spectacular sky-high columns and stunning chandeliers add a polished elegance to the space. The room also features a second level mezzanine.
