The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) manages California's diverse fish, wildlife and plant resources, and the habitats upon which they depend. Resident calendar-year fishing-license fees are $35.50, $95.25 for nonresidents. A one-day permit at $11.50. Two-day permit for $17.75. 10-day nonresident at $35.50. Prices subject to change. Anyone 16 or older must have a fishing license in order to fish in any body of water in California.
