A playwright and screenwriter, Lapadula is also an award-winning film producer and university lecturer in the Yale University Film Studies program. His stage plays have been produced world-wide. Lapadula has taught screenwriting, playwriting and film analysis courses at Johns Hopkins, the University of Pennsylvania and Columbia University, and he led the Screenwriting Series at the Smithsonian Institution.
