The Coke Hallowell Ranch House has a unique view of the River Center and its surroundings. Come see what seven local, artists, “see” from the windows of the house. Each has been asked to creatively interpret a scene as viewed from one of the Ranch House windows. Additional pieces by these artists will also be on exhibit. Artists: Peggy Jelmini Sandy Kowallis Janice Leppke Sue McCline Marilyn Torchin Joyce Tuck Kukiku Young A second exhibit in the office of the house will delight the viewer. Kathleen Mattox is a local artist from Sanger, California who paints in watercolor and mixed media. "Birds of the Ponding Basin" and "Birds of the Garden" are a part of her show. They were commissioned by the local Audubon Society. She is currently working on a series of whimsical paintings of Central Valley towns from her small studio gallery in Sanger. A word about the artists: These seven women have been inspired by the beauty of the San Joaquin River and its environs during their long and successful careers. Over the years each has consistently contributed a piece of art to the Parties for the Parkways Art Auction and as a result significantly supported the River Parkway Trust.
