About This Event

Join us for an informative lecture on how to get started researching your family history. Melissa Scroggins from the Fresno County Genealogical Society and the downtown library's Heritage Center will outline how to get started with family research. Attendees will learn what resources are available for free at the library and around town, as well as the best software and subscriptions. Ms. Scroggins will also highlight common mistakes made by amateur genealogists. 

This event is FREE to the public. Space is limited, so reservations are required. Call (559) 441-0862 Tuesday-Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. to reserve your spot. Refreshments will be available.
