Castle Air Museum located at 5050 Santa Fe Drive in Atwater will be hosting Fall Open Cockpit Day on Sunday, September 3 from 9 am to 5 pm. Special attractions include viewing the Winged Wonders of the Hidden Collection not seen in 20 years. These vintage aircraft made of wood and cloth along with an impressive aircraft engine display! This special exhibit to the Hangar to see where these antiques are located will have a shuttle provided and will be included with your admission!
Other attractions include kids activities like model making, model train display, food court, law enforcement displays, helicopter rides, plus see the new Supersonic B-58 Hustler Bomber still to be put together. Actually see what an aircraft looks like in an dismantled state prior to restoration!
Admission is $15 Adults (18-61) Seniors 61 and up $10, Youth 6-17 $10 and children 5 and under plus active duty military members with I.D. Free. Presidential Aircraft tours an additional $10 per person.
