About Insight Garden: Grounded in the belief that access to nature is a human right, Insight Garden’s evidence-based and nationally recognized program empowers people in prison to become food justice leaders, sustainable agriculture advocates, environmental stewards, urban gardeners, community educators, and racial and criminal justice reform advocates within prison and in the communities to which they return. First Armenian Presbyterian Church
430 South First Street Fresno, CA 93702

About This Event

California’s oldest Armenian Congregation will mark the silver anniversary of a congregational cookbook at its annual harvest season community luncheon. The First Armenian Presbyterian Church of Fresno will hold its 2018 Merchants’ Lunch and Country Store from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, November 8, at the Church Campus, 430 South First Street at Historic Huntington Boulevard, near Downtown Fresno. The 121st annual gathering will feature lunch at $15 per person, with seasoned beef filet kebab or garlic chicken kebab, rice pilaf, cheese boureg, garden salad, pickled tourshee, fresh peda bread, paklava, among the offerings. Photographs, paintings, and artifacts depicting a century and 21 years of Central California ministry will be on display during the culinary event. Meals will be available to guests for dine-in, take-out, or drive through. The drive-through lane will be located on the Raisina Street side of the Church Campus, one block west of First Street between Huntington Boulevard and Balch Avenue. More information is available by calling (559) 237-6638, faxing (559) 237-9526, or e-mailing administration@fapc.net. The autumn food bazaar marks the 25th Anniversary of the publication of “A Hundred Years and Still Cooking,” the FAPC Fidelis Women’s Society Centennial recipe collection. First published in 1993 by H. Markus Printing, the 496-page volume includes instructions for preparing 636 different ethnic recipes and sells for $35. Food writer Barbara Hansen, a James Beard Award winner, reviewed the volume in the January 14, 1998 edition of The Los Angeles Times under the headline, “Leaves from Fresno.” The cookbook is a unique compendium of heritage recipes, Scriptural truths, Old World culinary precepts, and Central California ethnic history. The Merchants’ Lunch Country Store will be open throughout the luncheon hours for holiday shopping. The Store will offer such ethnic delicacies as choreg, souberag, paklava, yalanchi, bottled grape leaves, gutah, tourshee, rojik, and basdegh. The abundant produce of the San Joaquin Valley and a host of homemade breads, jellies, and pastries will round out the comestibles in the Store pantry. Reverend Gregory Vahack Haroutunian and Reverend Mgo Mekredijian comprise the FAPC Teaching Elder Leadership Team. Lisa Tokatian, Maryvonne Gagliardi, and Jonelle S.G. Kazarian are Co-Chairs of the 2018 Merchants’ Lunch and Country Store. Chartered by 40 immigrants in a rented hall on July 25, 1897, FAPC was the boyhood church of authors William Saroyan and A.I. Bezzerides and documentary filmmaker J. Michael Hagopian. Six generations and 12 decades later, FAPC is a multigenerational congregation drawn from the Old and New Worlds. FAPC is a member congregation of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church and the Armenian Evangelical Union of North America. The 121st Anniversary theme of the congregation is “Love Christ. Love Others. Make Disciples.”

About This Event

89th Annual Downtown Fresno Christmas Parade Details

--Date: Saturday, December 8, 2018
--Time: 1 pm - 3 pm / staging will begin at 10 am
--Location: Fulton Street in downtown Fresno
--Theme: Future Christmas
--Cost to Participate: $50 per entry

About the Theme “Future Christmas”
Fresno was aptly referred to as the “city of tomorrow” in the 1960s as the city made a name for itself through its growth and development. Unfortunately, this innovation ultimately cost us the health of our once thriving urban core. We’ve begun to rebuild and revive downtown with the support of our community and as we’ve all recently witnessed, the year 2017 marked a tipping point in the right direction. The reopening of Fulton Street after 53 years has dramatically shifted the course of our future for the better. Join us on December 8 at the 89th annual Downtown Fresno Christmas parad

Hailing from Turlock, California, Evans has spent years on the comedy circuit spinning boredom, racism and unemployment into gut-busting laughs. Evans reduces the knocks of everyday life to their ridiculous essence. His method is best described as deadpan or under the radar, but the laughs are on full display when Taylor Evans performs/hosts/features/headlines! Taylor’s rise in comedy has included recent accomplishments, such as being a 2 time finalist in the bay areas rooster T feathers comedy competition, as well as being nominated 5 years in a row as his grandmothers favorite comedian! Taylor Evans is more than a talented stand-up comedian. He co-founded and co-produces one of the Central Valley’s longest-running comedy podcasts, “Black Enough” with Andre Morton. He is also a featured member of the venerable comedy team “The Deaf Puppies." Evans has performed all over the the Pacific northwest. You can find him on Instagram at: TaylorEvansComedy or on twitter under the same handle. Free. Bring tip money for the headliner. Hosted by Danny Minch and Dave Apkarian.

About This Event

Born In Israel, Roy had your average beginning. Then, as if the confusion of his roots wouldn’t eventually turn this little fella into a skewed man, his parents pulled a mean trick… …deciding to raise him in Kentucky. Pursuing the profession of Stand-up Comedy was only inevitable. Whether it’s making fun of his height (5’2), tackling personal issues, slamming an analytical magnifying glass on world events and society in general, or sharing a story from his travels – Roy’s comedy is live, direct, and playfully honest. Fan’s rave of his wit, and all who have seen him appreciate his will to speak his mind. Though he often leads his audience to the very edge, he shows great tact in realizing where it is and attempts to tread past the threshold only when necessary and never for the cheap, yet often sought-after “shock value” laugh. His set material focuses on self-deprecation, hypocrisy in politics (is that redundant?), double standards in culture, and his ability for story telling of topics that all audience members can enjoy. Not only will Roy’s show have you doubled over with laughter, but it will also undoubtedly move you to thought and reason. No, really… Roy has performed throughout the USA, Canada, and for the United States troops, both abroad and on U.S. soil. He’s shared the stage with the likes of Jim Breuer, Tommy Davidson, Don Rickles, Kevin Nealon, Iliza Shlesinger, Tom Arnold, Tim Wilson, Tom Green, and many more. He was also a semi finalist in the prestigious International San Francisco Comedy Competition (past competitors include: Robin Williams, Ellen DeGeneres, Sinbad and Dana Carvey, to name a few). He was also recently a participant in the San Luis Obispo (SLO) Comedy Festival. So, come on out to the show, warm up your face muscles, and prepare your tear ducts for an evening of hilarity. You’ll be sure to have BIG fun with this little dude! Free. Bring tip money for the headliner. Hosted by Danny Minch and Dave Apkarian.

Twilight Tours are an adults-only event (16yrs and older) held just two evenings per year.  You are treated to a fantastic dinner and dessert.  Everyone has the opportunity to free-walk the trail at your leisure as there is a docent at every enclosure to answer any questions.  The silent auction always has lots of one-of-a-kind, not-to-be-missed items and everyone is invited to join the enrichment tour.  During our special enrichment tour, you may see the cats interact with their favorite keepers and watch the cats receiving new toys and treats.  You may see leopards jumping, jaguars swimming, cheetahs running, and many other cats climbing, rolling and playing with their new toys.  You might even hear a few roars! A memorable evening surrounded by the beautiful manzanita, oaks - and amazing cats.  See you there!

Saroyan Theatre
730 M Street Fresno, CA 93721

About This Event

The Far Western District will celebrate its 71st Annual Convention in Fresno, California on October 11 through 14. Hosted by the Fresno Chapter, the quartet and chorus contests will be held at the beautiful William Saroyan Theater – often referred to as the “Jewel of Central California” – that is located in the Fresno Convention & Entertainment Center, while meetings and other events will take place at the headquarters DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel across the street.
The FWD Fall Convention is rated one one the best in the Society. In fact, it’s often referred to as the “Mini-International” because they offer so many events besides the contests, and it’s literally a non-stop weekend of fun and singing for everyone. Their Events Team, along with the Fresno Chapter are working very hard to make this year’s convention the best ever. In fact, you could say we’re …
“Raisin the Bar in Fresno”.

Classic movies on the big screen on Sundays and Wednesdays

Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977)
The sci-fi movie that earned director Steven Spielberg his first Oscar nomination. The title refers to interactions with UFO's: a sighting, physical evidence, and the third kind is contact. The climactic "mother ship" scene in which the alien creatures reveal themselves looks even more awesome in this 4K digitally restored director's cut.

Tower Theatre
809 E Olive Ave Fresno, CA 93728

About This Event

Filmworks presents the experimental theatre drama “Madeline’s Madeline,” a portrait of a teenager’s desire for self expression contrasted with a mother’s inherent impulse to protect. Newcomer Helena Howard stars as Madeline, who has become an integral part of a prestigious physical theater troupe. When the workshop’s ambitious director (Molly Parker) pushes the teenager to weave her rich interior world and troubled history with her mother (Miranda July) into their collective art, the lines between performance and reality begin to blur. The resulting battle between imagination and appropriation rips through the rehearsal space and through all three women’s lives. A raw depiction of the fluidity of reality within the creative process — which is reflective of writer/director Josephine Decker’s own relationship to the film — the story’s authenticity is amplified through the relentlessly intimate cinematography of Ashley Connor. Assistive listening services are not available for this film.

About This Event

With pianist/composer Tigran Hamasyan, potent jazz improvisation fuses with the rich folkloric heritage of Armenia. Winner of the top piano award at the 2013 Montreux Jazz Festival and the grand prize at the prestigious 2006 Thelonious Monk Jazz Piano Competition, “he’s the hottest pianist in jazz, and he likes to mix things up, whether it’s bebop, thrash metal, or dubstep. But his heart is in the folk music of his native land, Armenia” (The Guardian, London). The legendary Herbie Hancock extolled, “A-may-zing! Now, Tigran, you are my teacher!” The event is co-sponsored with the Fresno State Armenian Studies Program.

About This Event

Just Like Us - Written by Karen Zacarías
Directed by Gina Sandí-Díaz

About the play:
Based on Helen Thorpe’s bestselling book, this documentary-style play follows four Latina teenage girls in Denver—two of whom are documented and two who are not—through young adulthood. Their close-knit friendships begin to unravel when immigration status dictates the girls’ opportunities or lack thereof. When a political firestorm arises, each girl’s future becomes increasingly complicated. “Just Like Us” poses difficult, yet essential questions about what makes us American. A Fresno premiere!

SORRY, NO LATE SEATING. (Note: Children under 5 will not be permitted.)

About This Event

This stony, joke slinging rabble rouser has been delighting audiences across the west coast for over five years with his tales of life, love, and all that other crap that fills our days. His comedy career began as just another way for the long time theater nerd to get his stage fix, but he soon found that stand-up was his greatest passion and only actual skill. Clay is a regular host at Punchline and Cobb's in San Francisco, as well as Rooster T Feathers in Sunnyvale. He won Comedy Oakland's Tournament of Champions in 2015 and made it to the finals in 2017. Clay also found his way to the finals of the 2016 Ventura Harbor Comedy Competition, as well as the 2017 Rooster T Feathers Competition. He has also hosted the roasts of Dustin Diamond and Broke Ass Stuart in San Francisco, and opened for Nick Thune and Bryan Kellen in Ventura, Ca. Free. Bring tip money for the headliner. Hosted by Danny Minch and Dave Apkarian

Tower Theatre
815 E. Olive Ave. Fresno, CA 93728

About This Event

Oct. 12, 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. When the workshop's ambitious director (Molly Parker) pushes the teenager to weave her rich interior world and troubled history with her mother (Miranda July) into their collective art, the lines between performance and reality begin to blur. The resulting battle between imagination and appropriation rips through the rehearsal space and through all three women’s lives. A raw depiction of the fluidity of reality within the creative process -- which is reflective of writer/director Josephine Decker’s own relationship to the film -- the story’s authenticity is amplified through the relentlessly intimate cinematography of Ashley Connor. 93 minutes, Not Rated. Advance tickets cost $10 general and $8 for students and seniors, and they can be purchased by check or cash at the Tower Theatre box office, 815 E. Olive Ave. Visit FresnoFilmworks.org for tickets and details.

Trelio Restaurant
438 Clovis Ave. #4 Clovis, CA 93612

About This Event

So... Here is something a little different for Trelio! We are going to throw a party... not a dinner party, but a PARTY.

We have teamed up with Full Circle Brewing to produce a "Trelio" Beer, something that we have always wanted to do. Maybe not as cool and Stone Brewing/Pizza Port, but knowing Full Circle it is going to be well executed with the kinda DIY raw edge that we like.

It will be a costume party... we will be wearing them, you don't have too. If you feel inclind to dress-up with us we will be themed as 80's cartoons, you know - Rainbow Bright, Care Bears, My Little Pony, Thunder Cats (our personal favorite), He-Man... you get the jist.

Now, why should you come? We will be making Hors d'Oeuvres (lots), we will be pouring our beer - and selling it retail (for released party price), a 12 wine tasting, some music, and just hangin out with each other on a Tuesday Night... and yes... Chris may open some crazy stuff!

$60 per person inclusive price - very limited availability.

About This Event

Every Friday Old Town Clovis Rocks For FREE.. At the Lounge In DiCicco's This week High energy Jazz/Blues/Rock with Crowd Favorite, Richie Blue Get your Dancing Shoes on and get there early. Great Food, Great Drinks Great Music Every Friday at DiCicco's Do not miss this Show Recent inductee into"The Blues Hall of Fame"Guitarist/Singer/Songwriter Richie Blue's blistering guitar playing and heart and soul vocals have taken him to his current status as one of the top drawing acts on the club and festival circuit all over California, the northwestern states, Canada, and Mexico. His brand of music although rooted in the blues, is a blend of rock-a-billy, country swing, New Orleans swamp, and soul. Born and raised in Washington State, Richie won his first talent show contest in 1969 and went on to play in succesful 1970s northwest bands such as The Nashband and Greasewood before moving to San Francisco in 1980. His stint with The Fabulous Beaumont Brothers featuring Amos Garett brought attention to Richie's Twangin Blues and slide playing. Soon he was gigging the San Jose, San Francisco and Sacremento club and festival circuit with just about everyone in sight — some big names, others not so big — but always adding his tasteful, graceful, unpredictable and amazing guitar playing! Richie began performing with his own band in 1994 and has released three CDs on the San Francisco Farmboy label. His original song "Rooster" has been performed by the band Zero, Norton Buffalo, Stu Blank, The Sonoma Swampdogs and other Bay Area blues bands! With production help from Norton Buffalo and Steve Miller, Richie recorded and shopped his song "Run Through The Night" with favorable notices! Wherever Richie performs, the place is jumpin' and he has lived up to his buisness card slogan "No Bar Too Far". Richie has been a guest guitarist on 30+ albums and CDs! The following is a list of a few notable artists Richie has performed, toured and or recorded with: Amos Garrett, Steve Warner, Doug Kershaw, Roy Clark, Little Anthony, The Drifters, Fabian, Elvin Bishop, Norton Buffalo, Steve Miller, B.B. About This Event

Ruben Quintana is one of the first comedians to successfully establish Latino stand-up comedy throughout the entertainment industry. His brilliant performances in legendary comedy clubs such as The Laugh Factory, The Comedy Store, and Improv helped solidify a new marketplace for Latin comedy to thrive in. Since then the world of stand-up comedy has never been the same. So how did it all begin? The roots of this "Funnyman" Ruben's charisma and style were carved out in the Black comedy clubs “Chitlin' Circuit” of Los Angeles, California. His ability to be “who-larious” on stage earned him numerous television appearances and the opportunity to be one of the first Latinos to perform on BET's Comic View. As he took the stage the Emcee said, “Aw, this Mexican must be crazy (meaning funny) if he's in our house!” hosted by Danny Minch With many special guests All clean no cussing, think like Friends Or Monder Family humor https://www.eventbrite.com/e/pgno-cussingcomedy-show-headlining-ruben-quintana-tickets-50023311070

About This Event

Rick Wood is a comedian and writer based out of Los Angeles, CA. In addition to regularly performing at clubs and alt rooms around the city, he has appeared on several festivals including, Laughing Skull Comedy Fest in Atlanta Georgia, Crom Comedy in Toronto Canada, and Limestone Comedy Festival in Bloomington Indiana. Aside from L.A. and comedy festivals, he plays any comedy club, rock venue, dive bar or bowling alley you can squeeze a crowd into. Rick's cerebral brand of comedy takes a smartly askew look at a rapidly changing and increasingly bizarre world without talking down to an audience or assuming any sort of intellectual superiority. Often pushing the limits of control while mining dark and unusual places for comedy, his unique rationalizations bring even the most disparate points of view together if only long enough to get a laugh. hosted by Danny Minch With many special guests All clean no cussing, think like Friends Or Monder Family humor https://www.eventbrite.com/e/pgno-cussingcomedy-show-headlining-rick-wood-tickets-51029286971

About This Event

Known for being pioneers of modern worship, Irish band Rend Collective released their new single, “Rescuer (Good News)” to fans digitally on Friday, August 25th. The first song off their recently released album, “Rescuer (Good News) released on September 1st.“There’s a lot of bad news out there, but no matter what we have good news, and that good news has a name: Jesus Christ. Today there is nothing more powerful we can do in the darkness, in the bleakness, then proclaim the good news, then proclaim the gospel, and that’s why we wrote this song,” says band member Gareth Gilkeson. “The good Lord came to seek and save and maybe that’s a message you need to hear today. Maybe you need to know that you can be rescued. Maybe you just need to celebrate the fact that you have been rescued. Jesus is our rescuer, and there’s good news in Him.”

DiCicco's Old Town Clovis

About This Event

Lebanese-Palestinian-Syrian-Italian-American, born in Oakland, California, Sammy Obeid (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook) is best known for his 1,001 day streak of consecutive comedy performances. It began on December 26th, 2010, and concluded on September 21st, 2013– four days after an appearance on TBS’s Conan. Breaking the old world record on Day 731, Sammy set the new one at 1,001 Arabian Nights of Comedy. Over the course of the streak, he appeared on NBC’s America’s Got Talent and advanced to the Las Vegas round, and became the first comedian to perform on The Food Network in Throwdown with Bobby Flay. Splitsider conducted an extensive interview with him entering the home stretch. LA Weekly praised Sammy’s “sheer force of will” in performance and lifestyle, and LA Mag recommended his show highly. He was profiled in TIME Magazine, followed soon after by an article in the New York Times. Published on his final day, it describes his material as “full of wordplay” and “clever misdirection.” Chunks of his streak were spent as youngest member of both the CoExist Comedy and Axis of Evil: New Generation national tours. Capping the streak, his debut album, Get Funny or Die Trying, was named a Best Comedy Album of 2013 by iTunes. Not slowed, Sammy has now embarked on a national college tour performing for hundreds of students a week. Sammy has founded his own comedy enterprise, KO Comedy. He’s hard at work on both a book and documentary about his 1,001 Nights, each with the witty advice and deep-insider view found on his blog. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/sammy-obeid-pop-up-comedy-show-tickets-51419329599

About This Event

@indyfromspace is the twitter handle Dr. Sarah Parcak uses to communicate her Indiana Jones inspired passion for archaeology. An Egyptologist, she has pioneered the use of remote sensing from space to expose many previously unknown archeological sites. Her (paradoxically) groundbreaking work has revealed seventeen potentially unknown pyramids as well as more than one thousand tombs and three thousand settlements in Egypt.

Winner of the 2016 one million dollar TED Prize, Parcak’s expressed goal is to find every archeological site on earth and preserve each for future study. She is investing in globalXplorer.org, a citizen science platform for archaeology, to let people around the world help find and protect ancient sites and become partners in her important work preserving and studying the Earth’s cultural past. She is a Professor of Archaeology, a TED Senior Fellow and National Geographic Explorer.

About This Event

Filmworks presents the Central California premiere of the Japanese family drama "Shoplifters," winners of the Palme d'Or award at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival. Master filmmaker Hirokazu Kore-eda sweetly reimagines what defines a family by examining the effects of poverty. After a shoplifting session, Osamu and his son find a little girl in the freezing cold. At first reluctant to shelter the girl, Osamu's wife agrees to care for her after learning of her hardships. Although the family is pare, barely making ends meet through pretty crime, they live happily together until an unforeseen incident reveals hidden secrets and tests the bonds that unite them. Kore-eda attempts to redefine the concepts of "right" and "wrong" through this touching tale of a family that goes to great lengths to provide for and protect the ones they love. In Japanese, with English subtitles.

About This Event

Aaron Weaver started doing stand-up in Chicago in 2008, with a point-of-view so specific, so original, and so hilarious that the rest of the Chicago comedy scene quickly took notice. He rapidly became one of Chicago’s most heralded stand-ups, due to his custom brand of absurd soulfulness and his way of exploring all the smartest and stupidest thoughts that go through all of our heads. He has also performed at the TBS Just For Laughs Festival (twice), as well as the Boston and Bridgetown Comedy Festivals. Since moving to LA in 2013 he was named one of Comedy Central’s “Comics to Watch” as well as being named one of Last Comic Standing’s “Top 100 Comedians,” and finally he was just named one of LA’s Rising Stars by The Culture Trip. Aaron’s positive stage persona is a breath of fresh air, particularly if you like breathing things that are really, really funny.

About This Event

Daniel Eachus is a rising young star in the comedy world. Even at such a young age, Eachus has the chops of a comedy veteran and people are taking notice. Born and raised in Fresno, CA, he was surrounded by farms, but didn’t want to smell raisins for the rest of his life, so he turned to comedy to get him out. For college, Daniel’s wish came true and he left Fresno to study in Long Beach. By day, he was a student, by night he performed on the stand-up comedy circuit. After just one year of nightly performances, he became the youngest finalist ever in the “Funniest Comic in Los Angeles” contest held at the Jon Lovitz Comedy Club. He’s been entertaining audiences ever since. Eachus has been performing stand-up and improv throughout the nation’s clubs and recently was featured on Comedy Central’s “Up Next” and Sirius XM’s Comedy Central Radio. A finalist or winner in scores of comedy competitions including the World Series of Comedy, Up Next Regionals, Sacramento Comedy Festival (1st place winner), OC Improv Cup and more, he’s considering expanding his trophy shelf. But doing stand-up and improv is not enough for Daniel. When he’s not onstage making people laugh, he’s making people laugh at their screens. Daniel acts, writes, and produces the comedy sketch series, “Bigfoot Chasers”. He is a co-writer on a brand new Kevin Hart-Produced Series. He’s starred in 12 National Television Commercials, was featured on SpikeTV, and recently made his stand-up television debut on Fox and Hulu's “Laughs”. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/slice-of-comedy-daniel-eachus-cd-release-party-tickets-49614974725

About This Event

Phil Johnson is a man who gets mistaken for a woman but only by that not paying attention. That revelation kicks off a battle for self-awareness where comedy and music are the weapons of choice. It's a battle that has taken Phil to such esteemed festivals as the Edinburgh Fringe and Sundance Film Festivals and the Top 8 Finals of the World Series of Comedy. "I've always been the guy who isn't quite what people expect," says Phil. Using that experience, Phil pokes holes in the medical marijuana argument, discusses being a white guy at a hip-hop show (and the innocent gestures that can get him in trouble), and reveals why Hawaii isn't the paradise we think it is. From Shakespearean bees to redneck vampires to anthropomorphic cell phones with weight issues, Phil Johnson fills the stage with quirky characters that combine social satire with absurdist flights of fancy. Then the guitar comes out and kicks the show into an even higher gear with songs about the bright future (and dark past) of babies and what he would do if he woke up one morning as an actual woman. On stage, Phil's playful humor and likable, endearing manner allow him to shake things up without antagonizing the audience. In the end, we can only be who we are, try to understand others, and hope they understand us. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/slice-of-comedy-headlining-phil-johnson-tickets-43910471402

About This Event

Shaman Johal is fast becoming one of the greatest lyft drivers in the LA area, he is also a stand-up comedian. Born in the northern shores of Ireland to a close-knit family of druids, he was deemed the chosen one. After saving all of his homeland from a great potato famine, he realized there was more work to be done and promptly moved to the city of angels otherwise known as Compton, California. Once there, he began learning about the pimp game. Within two days he had his own home business and purple furry drop top Cadillac. Three days in, he caught the attention of the head of the Gambino crime family, who propositioned him to be the new head of the Gambino crime family, he declined the offer and instead, united all the Sicilian crime families into one big mafia and then became their leader. He then became Buddhist and planned to climb the Himalayan mountains barefoot to find enlightenment, but booked the wrong flight and ended up in Japan instead. There, Shaman built the worlds fastest bullet train and had a sword fight with the CEO of Sony for the hand of his daughter. He won the fight, married the daughter, and was given a PlayStation 9. He then moved to Africa, built a cottage in the plains of the Serengeti and had a big bi-racial family. Even though life was good on the plains, eating lion meat and dancing with gazelles, Shaman knew his story had to be told, so he canoed back to America and began doing comedy. Since then he has been seen in the background of a whole number of Hollywood films, usually playing a terrorist, and has been traveling the country doing stand up comedy.
